Chemical Education Digital Library (ChemEd DL)

ChemEd DL provides exemplary digital resources, tools, and online services to aid in teaching and learning chemistry by offering access to multiple collections and services from the the Journal of Chemical Education, the American Chemical Society Education Division and the ChemCollective. Major resources center on the periodic table and properties of the elements, molecular and solid-state structures, videos showing chemical reactions, questions for homework and quizzes, virtual laboratories, and wiki-based textbooks. Major services include a course-management system (Moodle) into which resources are easily added, a tool for organizing wiki-textbooks into course units, and a series of high-school-chemistry lesson plans incorporating online resources.
