University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Abstract:

Take an educational expedition to the Caribbean! This 8-day workshop at a tropical reef in Roatan, the Bay Islands, Honduras, will explore the biodiversity of a coral reef ecosystem and the related habitats that support its complex structure. Topics explored include: reef formation and ecology; reef fish; reef invertebrates; animal relationships; sandy beaches; tide pools; rocky shore zonation; mangroves; and turtle grass beds. Scholarships are available.
